By joining the pottery class (taught by Dawn + Malcolm or Alee) at school, your child will spend time having fun while being creative, learning pottery skills
and improving fine motor skills, as well as supporting a really worthwhile cause. The children warm-up with finger exercises and then make their own items from our guidance.
Andrew and Rae are the founders and directors of Thembisa-Embo community project which supports and feeds orphans in the Embo valley. They have been in existence for more than 10 years and care for between seven and 15 children that are abandoned or have nowhere to stay.
To find out more about us and view some photos, please visit our web site at: www.thembisa.com. The project supports nearly 70 Grannies who each care for between 5 and 10 aids orphans, between the ages of birth and 18 years.
Below are just a few of our children's masterpieces.... all worthy of pride of place in your home!
