The 1000 Hills Bird Park is a new bird park situated in Botha's Hill near Durban. The bird park is home to a large variety of birds from all over the world. Children and parents are always delighted to come and see our talking Cockatoo Snowy.

Families can enjoy an outing to the bird park and order our fantastic picnic hampers in advance or bring there own. Braai facilities are also available. We also cater for school outings and conferences.

Children's birthday party can be arranged at Polly Parrot Party Venue where nothing is too much trouble and we will provide you with all the frills without any hassles.

Children can enjoy playing on our jungle gym or for the more adventurous, we have a new and exciting addition being our 150m Zip Line.

Refeshments and treats may be purchased at Have One More Sweet Shoppe, our old fashioned designed sweet show which is lined up with many difference bottles of sweets, something for everyones taste, or browse around our farm stall stocked with delectable delights and exquisite choices of "farm stall fare” such as jams and marmelades , pickles and honey and homemade cookies.

My daughter's school was the first to visit the bird park shortly after it opened. She then proudly gave us the tour when I took my daughters there last Monday. It is a lovely place to take the kids and looks like a great venue to have birthday parties too !
